My Son is Going To Learn Chinese

I promised myself that my children are going to know how to speak and write Chinese, aside from English and Filipino. I feel sad whenever I know of friends who can no longer speak Chinese. It's part of our heritage. Although strictly speaking, we're now citizens of the Philippines and should speak Filipino, we should never forget where we came from. Besides, another language is always an advantage.

Hi Joey! Nice new blog. I want my daughter to learn Chinese too. That's why we will enroll her in a Chinese school for grade school, even if it is not a progressive-type of school. I don't know of any Chinese progressive big schools.

Hi, Jenny! Thanks so much for visiting! So far nga all the Chinese schools I know are traditional and not progressive. Iba pa rin ang Chinese learned from school and just from a few lessons here and there, no? I know some people kasi who are Chinese and didn't study in a Chinese school tapos didn't know na how to read and write in Chinese. Oh well.
